Licenses & Continuing Education

The heart of CRATCHIT-WEB® is the license tracking system. It is able to record an unlimited number of licenses for each agent, so multiple licenses in one state is not a problem. By recording all of the dates of a license, CRATCHIT-WEB® is able to easily produce a report showing you the licenses coming due for renewal, so you can be prepared, or so you can delegate the work to others.

For resident licenses, CRATCHIT-WEB® provides a way to record the Continuing Education requirements for your agents, as well as tracking the courses they have completed and the hours they have earned. Thus, you can produce reports of your agents who are not in CE compliance, and take appropriate steps before it's too late.

Lines of authority, appointments, and appointment lines of authority are all recorded in CRATCHIT-WEB®. Store as much, or as little information as you need.

Certificates of Authority

In place of a license, some states issue certificates of authority. Carrying all the same privileges as a license but with fewer requirements for maintenance, certificates of authority for your agents can easily be tracked in CRATCHIT-WEB®.

Designations Held

If your agents have achieved a designation you can record it along with their other information. Many states that have CE requirements offer exceptions or reductions for agents who hold specific designations.

Organizations

As you will see in the section 'Organizations & Agencies', CRATCHIT-WEB® also keeps track of the agencies and organizations that comprise your company. If you choose to utilize this feature, you have the added ability to link your agents with the agencies where they are assigned. An agent may be assigned to multiple agencies if necessary.

Reminder, Deadline, Diary

Perhaps the most popular feature of CRATCHIT-WEB® is its ability to remember activities you must perform, then remind you of them at the appropriate time. It further allows you to permanently store that action and its results in the diary for the agent. It's easy to use and it comes with the program. Simply create a reminder item, select the date it is due and the date you want to be notified. Describe what you must do, then forget about it. At the time you specified, CRATCHIT-WEB® will remind you that your item has become a deadline. Once you complete the deadline, you have the choice to remove it, or permanently store it in the agent's diary. Since reminders are coded according their task, you can create reminders for any activity you need to perform.

You can also use the Diary directly, perhaps to record phone conversations with your agents, or simply to remind you to send them an annual report of their licenses, to help you keep them current.

Document Tracking

If you have ever completed a form, mailed it away, and then never seen or heard of it again, then you will appreciate the Document Tracking function of CRATCHIT-WEB®. As with all extra features there is no charge to use it. Simply record the key events of a document: when you sent it, when it came back, when the state received it, and when it was complete... and CRATCHIT-WEB® can tell you at any given moment where your documents are. Use it to identify bottlenecks in processing, and for planning when you know a particular document may take some time to complete.

NASD Tracking
